Summer Planting
With huge thanks to Chris Clow and his Team from Garden Pride in Ditchling, the planters and hanging baskets have been replanted early in June for the Summer season.
Those that have travelled from the station cannot help but be cheered up by the bright colours.
If the current dry weather continues, our team of volunteers will be hard at work all summer, watering and dead-heading to keep the flowers looking good for everyone to enjoy. If you do have just a few hours a month to spare, please do get in touch with Paul Nicholson on 01273 891725 or business@plumptonvap.co.uk
The Plumpton Wildlife & Habitat Group is also looking after the habitat around the station with wildflower planting – some of which has been in flower already:
Missed out on what has been going on at the station, read the Plumpton Station Partnership Newsletter edition 1 (pdf), or pick up a copy at the station.
